ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and develop new customers in the region for the palm oil products portfolio.
  • Analyse regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
  • Recognise and pursue market opportunities in edible oils and specialty fats.
  • Manage customers, monitor competitors’ activity, and track industry trends.
  • Sales and customer account management to drive value-added products.
  • Plan, organise, and coordinate the sales operations of a company or organisation.
  • Gain in-depth general industry knowledge as well as local market knowledge.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while highlighting only the most complex issues to the appropriate person.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of five years of working experience.
  • Work experience in the edible oil and specialty fat industries will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of palm oil business and ability to drive growth.
  • Experience in developing product solutions.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals on all business levels.
  • Ability to work in a team within a matrix organisation.
