About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Epicon Berhad as a Site Supervisor. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities and ensuring the successful and timely completion of construction projects. Based in Ipoh, Perak, this full-time role will see you play a vital supervisory and coordinating function, working closely with the construction crew to deliver high-quality results.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist the project manager in planning the project.
2. Supervise and monitor site worker efficiency and productivity of progress on site.
3. Arrange regular meetings with workers or subcontractors to match targeted schedules and resolve site matters.
4. Supervise construction projects to ensure they meet technical specifications.
5. Ensure that construction projects are completed within planned cost and time.
6. Convey information about the progress of the project and the performance of the contractors to the manager.
7. Assist the project manager in the procurement of materials.
8. Educate site workers on safety procedures and ensure strict adherence to safety standards.
9. Report accidents at the construction site to the project manager.
10. Administer or ensure first aid is provided to injured workers.
11. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the construction site.
12. Maintain good relationships with site workers, contractors, and suppliers.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
2. Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (preferred for dealing with Mandarin-speaking suppliers).
3. At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
4. Ability to read building plans and site drawings.
5. Own transport is required.
6. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
