We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant for a pivotal role within the Accounting & Finance Department in the Building Material Manufacturing industry. This role involves maintaining accuracy, assisting with audits, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.

Description

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Develop and maintain financial databases
• Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process
• Manage and coordinate budget and financial forecast
• Monitor and support taxation requirements

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, Malaysia laws, and regulations
• Strong understanding of economic and banking processes
• Excellent computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• High attention to detail and accuracy
