Job description

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to collate the required information
• Perform accurate data entry into accounting software
• Handle full set of accounts and perform month-end closing in a timely manner
• Compute payroll and contributions such as EPF, EIS, SOCSO, HRDC
• Process payments
• Assist in preparation and filing of SST
• Provide support for clients by understanding and satisfying their needs
• Liaise with co-sect, auditors, and tax agents
• Manage and plan jobs independently to meet deadlines
• Handle client requests, feedback, and complaints promptly and effectively
• Report to senior account executives/managers promptly
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Candidate possesses a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• Candidates currently pursuing ACCA, CPA, CIMA are encouraged to apply
• Fluency in Mandarin is preferred as the role may involve dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients
• 2-5 years of working experience in an accounting firm is an advantage
• Required skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
• Experience in Xero / SQL Accounting software is an advantage
