Deputy Manager, Health Performance Management

The Deputy Manager will assist the team lead in Analytics to execute deliverables such as analytics projects, dashboards, monitoring tools, and cross-functional analytics demands. The role involves executing projects that enhance PRUBSN analytics capability and acting as a bridge between Health Analytics teams and PRUBSN business stakeholders. This position supports initiatives by contributing to data-driven decision-making, profit and growth focus, and efficiency improvements aligned with PruBSN Health Business Strategic goals. The successful candidate will work closely with Health Analytics Managers and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of business requirements, data preparation, modeling, impact analysis, and project management.

Key accountabilities:
  1. Project Execution: Assist in executing multiple analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Monitor progress and provide regular updates.
  2. Data Analytics & Modeling: Support the development of analytical frameworks and predictive models to assess cost drivers, customer behavior, and healthcare trends. Conduct data analysis and generate insights for decision-making.
  3. Compliance Implementation: Ensure compliance with regulatory and actuarial standards in collaboration with legal, finance, and underwriting teams. Assist in preparing compliance reports and documentation.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between analytics teams and senior leadership. Present insights clearly and prepare reports for stakeholder meetings.
  5. Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting systems to provide real-time business insights. Ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  6. Operational Support: Support operational planning by integrating analytics into business strategies. Assist in product development and pricing strategies optimization.
  7. Team Support: Mentor and support analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance analytics culture. Provide training and development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree or Master in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
  • 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in Machine Learning tools (Python, R, SQL, PowerBI).
  • Technical knowledge of Machine Learning techniques such as Linear Regression, GLM, GBM, Clustering.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
