We are looking for a passionate and talented Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager who hold solid knowledge & experience in safety, quality and compliance management to join our team in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur office.

The opportunity:

Working from our production facility in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an independent Quality and Safety management system that complies with CAAM and EASA Part 145 regulations.

The primary tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Establishment of an independent quality and safety assurance management system for the monitoring of compliance by TP Aerospace Malaysia Sdn Bhd against CAAM and EASA Part 145 requirements.
  • Development and management of company policies, procedures, Maintenance Organization Expositions (MOE), and all other relevant documentation that demonstrate compliance against CAAM and EASA Part 145 regulations.
  • Development and implementation of an independent quality and safety audit program.
  • Development and management of staff induction, staff training plan, competency assessment program and company authorization management system to ensure personnel compliances against CAAM and EASA Part 145 regulatory requirements.
  • Development and delivery of training programs including continuation training programs.
  • Act as a liaison with CAAM and EASA on all matters pertaining to the continuation of the TP Aerospace Part 145 Approvals including the submission of the MOE and any associated revision.
  • Management of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that they are able to meet the obligations of the MOE and the Part 145 AMC to the satisfaction of CAAM and EASA and maintaining the expertise to do so.
  • Development of strategic plans for the continuous improvement of Quality, Safety, Health & Safety and Environment, and promote aviation safety culture throughout TP Aerospace

Qualifications:

We are seeking a Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager who can identify with the description below:

  • Acceptable to CAAM and EASA via the Form 4 process
  • Experience in a similar position under CAAM and/or EASA Part 145
  • Qualifications in Management and Quality auditing (preferably Lead Auditor)

Skills and Attributes:

  • Sound knowledge in quality and safety management principles and practices
  • Direct auditing experience in an aviation environment
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Part 145 Quality Management and Safety Management Systems
  • Understanding of Human Factors (HF) principles
