Job description

Our client is an established renewable energy company. Currently they are looking for a passionate professional to join them as the Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle execution of LSS project phases: Planning, Execution, and Closure.
• Develop project schedules, resource & cost plans, risk and procurement strategies, and documentation workflows.
• Monitor progress, implement cost control (EVMS), ensure quality and risk management, and report to stakeholders.
• Coordinate handover to Asset Management, O&M, and post-construction teams.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary project teams and EPCC master work programs.
• Manage project risks, resolve site issues, and ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external project communications.
• Coordinate construction methods and acceptance procedures.
• Represent the company on-site and report directly to the Project Director and senior management.

Requirements:

• Broad technical knowledge in Civil and Electrical engineering, especially in: Civil works (earthworks, drainage, structural construction), Renewable energy (solar) and power systems.
• Strong project, contract, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Critical thinking, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
• Team player, self-motivated, organized, and independent
• Effective communicator in English and Malay; Mandarin is a plus
• Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Willing to travel or relocate as required
• Strong leadership, negotiation, networking, and time management skills
