Sales and Marketing Manager, Energy Division

About the role

Join the subsidiary of Meta Bright Group Berhad as a full-time Sales and Marketing Manager for our Energy Division. You will be responsible for driving sales and marketing strategies to promote our market-leading energy solutions to customers across Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding regions. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a critical function and make a real impact on the growth of our expanding energy business.

What you'll be doing

Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth in the energy sector.

Manage and expand relationships with existing clients, identifying new opportunities for business development.

Actively seek out new leads and prospective clients to expand the division’s customer base and market reach.

Conduct preliminary due diligence on potential clients, assessing business viability, alignment with company values, and potential risks in collaboration with legal and finance teams.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on goals and objectives.

Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to tailor the division’s offerings.

Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and senior management.

Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Drive lead generation, digital marketing campaigns, and brand awareness initiatives.

Achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the energy, utilities, or related industries.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Ability to analyze market data and adjust strategies accordingly.

Knowledge of energy markets and technologies is preferred.

Able to speak English, Malay and Mandarin fluently

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)

Our current project is a township development named Bandar Tasek Raja situated in Pasir Mas, Kelantan. This is a joint venture development project between the Kelantan state government, Majlis Daerah Pasir Mas and Eastern Biscuit Factory Sdn Bhd ("EBF"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastland Equity Bhd (EEB).

The Grand Renai Kota Bharu Hotel

Located in the heart of Kota Bharu's commercial and shopping district, The Grand Renai Kota Bharu Hotel is the city's pioneer five stars international class hotel. It has 298 rooms and suites and wide range of facilities for leisure and business travelers such as fitness centre, restaurant, meeting rooms, Ballroom and etc. It is also a premier convention and wedding venue in the city.

Shopping Complex and Condominium. Adjacent to The Grand Renai Kota Bharu Hotel are the Kota Sri Mutiara shopping complex and a Mutiara Tower condominium. The 6-storey shopping complex with a total floor area of approximately 34,400 square meters consists of a supermarket, food court and about 100 units of shoplots. It provides great convenience to the condominium's residents and the Hotel guests. The 23-storey condominium consists of 159 units of apartments where most of the units are sold to various buyers.
