Qualifications

• Completion of Site Safety Supervisor Training and valid yellow book from DOSH required.
• 2-3 years experience in lift and escalator industry or construction field.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. To perform safety inspections and audits at sites as to ensure EHS system is effective and in compliance to regulatory requirements and internal EHS procedure.
2. To establish and deliver EHS related trainings to Subcontractor performing work at his assign site.
3. To manage Subcontractors and ensure compliance towards EHS requirements in accordance to national (OSHA 1994 & FMA 1967) & Client EHS requirements.
4. To carried out investigation into accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences and take steps to mitigate these risks as instructed by Assistant Manager, Southern Region.
5. To establish Onsite Emergency Response and Evacuation and evaluate its effectiveness.
6. To be the focal person and work closely with Client / Main Contractor EHS Officer on EHS matters at assigned Sites.
7. To attend any site EHS Meeting, Briefing or deliver presentation with regards to EHS matters whenever require by the Client’s.
8. To submit Weekly Report & Monthly Report on activities carry out to the Manager, EH&S.
9. To liaise with respective Authorities in relation to SSS scope of work i.e., DOSH, DOE, Bomba etc.
10. To perform all other work as and when assigned i.e. lifting plan and etc.
11. To receive and act on any other instructions from the Manager, Southern Region or any other person so delegated by him/her.

Qualifications:

• Candidate shall successfully complete Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Training at any training providers and possesses valid yellow book from DOSH.

Working Experience:

• At least 2-3 years’ working experience working experience in lift and escalator industry or construction field.

Skills / Knowledge (or any special requirement):

1. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

2. High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

3. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

4. Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to Department.

5. Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.

7. Able to supervise and manage Subcontractors at site.

8. Knowledge in EHS related Act & Legislations and HIRARC.
