The assistant - P2P (Travel & Entertainment Expenses) is involved in the P2P cycle, particularly T&E processes and functions, including payment execution to employees. This role requires processing claims in a timely manner (according to SLA), in accordance with company policies & procedures. The role also includes promptly performing Lodge Card reconciliation, handling employee queries, and managing daily/monthly closing activities.

- Perform APAC Audit processes in accordance with Policies & Procedures for T&E.
- Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis upon request.
- Support employee queries.
- Support internal & external audit activities.
- Assist with internal projects & process initiatives.
- Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline existing processes.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
- Backup peers when necessary.
- Assist with new process implementations.
- Maintain Accounts Payable policies & procedures.
- Participate in continuous process efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls programs.
- Comply with accounting principles, SSC standards, and SLAs.
- Address stakeholder issues and requests.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with Brands Finance where applicable.
- Enhance team interaction and optimize team effectiveness.
Profile
- Diploma with a minimum of 1 year work experience or fresh graduates with a degree in a relevant field (preferably Commerce, Finance, Accounting).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Basic understanding of expenditure cycle and rules (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, credit/debit notes, payment terms).
- Basic knowledge of inter-company recharge principles and rules.
- Understanding of general administrative duties and procedures.
- Good overall functional knowledge.
- Ability to use SAP and other financial systems.
- Good computer skills and proactive learning attitude.
- Ability to work well with team members and build productive relationships.
- Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Understanding of cultural sensitivities.
- Quantitative and analytical skills.
