Job description

The assistant - P2P (Travel & Entertainment Expenses) is involved in the P2P cycle, particularly T&E processes and functions, including payment execution to employees. This role requires processing claims in a timely manner (according to SLA), in accordance with company policies & procedures. The role also includes promptly performing Lodge Card reconciliation, handling employee queries, and managing daily/monthly closing activities.

  1. Perform APAC Audit processes in accordance with Policies & Procedures for T&E.
  2. Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis upon request.
  3. Support employee queries.
  4. Support internal & external audit activities.
  5. Assist with internal projects & process initiatives.
  6. Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline existing processes.
  7. Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
  8. Backup peers when necessary.
  9. Assist with new process implementations.
  10. Maintain Accounts Payable policies & procedures.
  11. Participate in continuous process efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
  12. Ensure adherence to internal controls programs.
  13. Comply with accounting principles, SSC standards, and SLAs.
  14. Address stakeholder issues and requests.
  15. Establish and maintain working relationships with Brands Finance where applicable.
  16. Enhance team interaction and optimize team effectiveness.
Profile
  1. Diploma with a minimum of 1 year work experience or fresh graduates with a degree in a relevant field (preferably Commerce, Finance, Accounting).
  2. Good organizational and time management skills.
  3. Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  4. Basic understanding of expenditure cycle and rules (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, credit/debit notes, payment terms).
  5. Basic knowledge of inter-company recharge principles and rules.
  6. Understanding of general administrative duties and procedures.
  7. Good overall functional knowledge.
  8. Ability to use SAP and other financial systems.
  9. Good computer skills and proactive learning attitude.
  10. Ability to work well with team members and build productive relationships.
  11. Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  12. Understanding of cultural sensitivities.
  13. Quantitative and analytical skills.
  14. Ability to interact courteously with customers and deliver high-quality service.
  15. Ability to analyze customer needs and act upon feedback.
  16. Coordination skills with internal departments for seamless service delivery.
  17. Ability to build strong customer relationships.
