Job Description:
CONVEYANCING LAWYER:
1) To attend to all Conveyancing matters;
2) Able to attend Court matters independently, skilled drafting, preparing cause papers, e-filing;
3) Good research in precedents, case law, court rules;
4) Good interpersonal skills, able to multi-task, work under pressure within tight deadlines;
5) To attend to Clients and other legal works assigned by the Partners from time to time;
6) Self-motivated, meticulous and have an analytical mind;
7) Positive attitude, responsible, trusted person
8) To work flexibly and cope with changing priorities;
9) To have a receptive respond to receiving and acting on instructions given by the immediate supervisor;
10) To provide clear, accurate and up-to-date information on the files;
11) To monitor file management and prepare the weekly status report;
12) To do works that have been assigned by the firm from time to time.
13) Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
14) Meticulous and able to work independently under minimum supervision.

CONVEYANCING CLERK:
1) Handle the entire conveyancing process for sale and purchase agreements, sub-sale, loan documentation, and discharge of charge.
2) Prepare, draft, and manage documentation including SPA, loan agreements, and other legal correspondence.
3) Liaise with clients, bankers, developers, government bodies (e.g., LHDN, land office), and relevant stakeholders.
4) Perform title searches and attend to stamping, registration, and other related legal formalities.
5) Ensure timely completion of transactions and follow-ups.
6) Maintain proper documentation and file management.
7) Provide administrative and clerical support to legal associates and partners.
8) Monitor deadlines and progress of files.
CHAMBERING:
1) Assist lawyers with legal research, drafting pleadings, agreements, and cause papers.
2) Assist in preparing documentation for sale and purchase agreements, loan documentation, and other conveyancing matters (if applicable).
3) Attend to filing, documentation, and administrative duties related to legal practice.
4) Liaise with clients, courts, government agencies, and relevant parties.
5) Learn and apply ethical standards and procedural rules of legal practice.
Qualifications and Requirements:
CONVEYANCING LAWYER:
1) Bachelor’s Degree, in Law (L.L.B) with a qualified practicing certificate with LLBS or DAIJ/DSLA/DSLP is a great advantage
2) A qualified practicing certificate as Conveyancing Lawyer in Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan
3) 3 years of Practice
4) Able to work with minimum supervision, a team player,
5) Willing to travel at any time (inter-state, outstation, meetings) and able to work long hours
6) Responsible, reliable, committed and with positive working attitude.
7) Interest in Intellectual Property, Corporate will be an added advantage
8) Excellent in speaking as well as written English and Bahasa Malaysia
CONVEYANCING CLERK:
1) Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma in Legal Studies or equivalent.
At least 1–2 years of working experience in conveyancing (Fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
2) Familiar with procedures related to SPA, loans (including government, end-financing, and refinance), and title transfers.
3) Knowledge of relevant legal documentation, land office procedures, and bank loan processes.
4) Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
5) Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple files efficiently.
6) Responsible, meticulous, and organized with a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality.
7) Computer literate (Microsoft Office etc.)
CHAMBERING:
1) Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized institution.
2) Completed and passed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or equivalent (or awaiting results).
3) Strong interest in litigation or conveyancing (please specify if your firm specializes).
4) Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
5) Hardworking, responsible, proactive, and eager to learn.
6) Good time management and organizational skills.
