Job description

Design machinery and equipment related to Camfil products and processes.

Project Management

Improve or develop existing /new processes related to Camfil's Scope of business.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and improve processes and equipment related to process and product.
• Build machinery and equipment related to Camfil manufacturing scope and products.
• Improve process equipment required by process development teams.
• Support APAC and Global projects on process and product development and factory/facility setup.
• Assist the Global team with machinery installation, testing, and commissioning at Malaysia plant and APEC.
• Use 3D design software SolidWorks.
• Apply knowledge of basic engineering design, calculations, and mechanical properties.
• Understand pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Have knowledge of Electrical systems, including low voltage, high voltage, and controls (AC/DC).
• Read engineering and electrical drawings.
• Perform layout according to lean manufacturing concepts.
• Possess knowledge of PLC/PAC or Robotics.
• Resolve mechanical or electrical failures through problem-solving skills.
• Coordinate projects assigned by senior engineers.
• Willing to travel overseas for installation and procurement of machinery.
• Monitor and execute projects within set timelines.
• Maintain responsibility for activities related to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Energy.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and SOPs related to QHSE&E.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience; experience with machine-building is beneficial.
• Fresh graduates with an Engineering Degree and 2 years of relevant experience are also considered.
• Strong technical knowledge and skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, with excellent time management.
• Experience with technical drawing software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of PLC, robotic, and electrical automation controls.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in project coordination and implementation within timelines is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of M&E Safety.
• Team player mentality.
