Job description

In the position of Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be a key contributor in the innovation process as well as the transfer of processes between Monster Energy Company (MEC) co‐packers to document and transfer in‐depth knowledge regarding co‐packers processing capabilities and processes to speed up implementation of new formulas or processes at plants. You will manage the in‐house knowledge base of processing of MEC product portfolio to enable a global approach on the collected efforts between cross functional teams and flavor houses.

Job Functions:

  • Lead processing specific technical transfer meetings with corporate team regarding processing know‐how and best practices and control points and sensory targets for new formulas to enable successful transfer of mixing instructions to
    new co‐packers.
  • MEC technical lead for formula commercialization at co‐packers and bottlers.
  • Provide plant specific information and work closely with Corporate Optimization Manager and Formula Program Senior Manager to project scoping and planning for regional Productivity initiatives. Responsible for execution and implementation activities.
  • Maintain internal database and educate internal stakeholders in the knowhow of batch mixing, heat processing, retort, pasteurization, aseptic processing, etc. for new products.
  • Responsible for plant capability assessment from New Product Development (NPD) perspective.
  • Provide commercial formula guidelines to corporate Global Formula Governance team for formula specification development.
  • Manage documents that are related to improving and establishing process parameters.
  • Lead plant engagement meeting with co‐packers and bottlers for technical scoping.

Position Requirements:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Food, Chemical, Processing Engineering, or other related technical degree is preferred.
  • Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in New Product Development, Research and Development, and/or Process Engineer for a beverage and food manufacturer.
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and SAP.
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Experience with facilitating project activities with external vendors and flavor houses. Knowledge and experience including ingredients, formulation, and processing such as hot‐fill and cold‐fill preserved, tunnel pasteurization, retort, and/or aseptic fill, is preferred.
