Job summary

A leading company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Security professional to provide consultation services, manage security incidents, and develop security programs. The ideal candidate will have a degree in IT or Computer Science, along with professional certifications and at least 5 years of relevant experience. This role involves overseeing security solutions, managing user access, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Provide IT security consultation services to other IT functional units.
• Conduct regular self-assessments to assess the company’s IT security maturity levels, and analyze the security threat landscape & future requirements.
• Manage security incidents and events.
• Manage and support user access and identity management
• Manage and support IT Security solutions including APT, network security products, and technology.
• Manage and support vulnerabilities management systems
• Manage engagements with IT Security vendors.
• Develops new security programs by strategically reviewing existing security programs.
• Run security projects from design and development to production.
• Project security enhancement and upgrade.
• Design the security solution and architect.
• Develop and review security policies and standards, procedures, and guidelines according to the security standards and best practices.
• Develops security awareness by providing orientation, educational programs, and ongoing communication.
• Assesses existing development pipelines, identifying opportunities to embed security measures seamlessly.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Professional certifications in IT Security such as CEH, CISA, CISM, and CISSP would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience related experience in IT Security operation and technical.
• Possessed knowledge and experience in IT Security Operation and Technical which includes user access management, vulnerability, and penetration testing management, patch management, firewalls, antivirus, and IPS/IDS, Web Application Filtering, Microsoft O365 Security & Compliance, AWS Security.
