An established industry player seeks a skilled Accountant to oversee financial reporting and cash flow management. This role involves preparing financial reports, managing e-invoices, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Prepare, check, and submit the financial report to the Director & General Manager on time.
Plan, manage, and monitor cash flow to ensure overdue sales amounts are recovered and sufficient cash is maintained for payments.
Ensure all management, consolidated account, and statutory reporting submissions are completed on a timely and accurate basis.
Assist in preparing the Singapore Company Financial report, GST filing, audit, and tax return.
Continuously improve company policies, procedures, guidelines, and rules to ensure proper implementation and practice.
Plan monthly and yearly company stock takes.
Maintain, implement, and improve accounting, management information, and internal control systems.
Manage e-invoices, verify their validity, and ensure compliance with LHDN guidelines & regulations.
Prepare the annual budget, maintain the fixed assets register, and review and analyze financial data and performance.
Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, insurance agents, company secretaries, and government bodies for statutory and legislative requirements.
Report any fraud or illegal matters to management.
Handle ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu; ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
Good problem-solving skills.
Computer literate and familiar with accounting software and MS Excel.
Ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels within the organization.
