MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMINISTRATION ("HRA")

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and drive the entire HRA Department ensuring smooth operations and controls.
  2. Develop and implement human resource strategies and initiatives aligned with broader business objectives set by the CEO, CBO, or senior management representatives.
  3. Monitor human resource strategies, systems, and procedures across the company to drive high performance.
  4. Maintain competitive compensation and benefits as part of talent management, including recruitment, retention, and workforce sizing.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulations in areas such as payroll administration, licensing, occupational safety, vehicle maintenance, and sustainability reporting.
  6. Act as Liaison Officer on employee discipline, employment law, and industrial relations matters.
  7. Assess and monitor training programs to foster continuous improvement.
  8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align goals and interests.
  9. Manage budgeting, monitoring, and reporting of HRA activities.
  10. Develop and support the HRA team to deliver effective services.
  11. Manage employee relations and engagement activities throughout the year.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience handling full spectrum of HRA functions.
  • Knowledge of Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act, and relevant statutory laws.
  • Experience leading HRA departments through strategic and transactional changes.
  • Ability to develop, modify, and communicate HR policies effectively.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and confidentiality skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Malaysian citizen.
