Regional Procurement Manager - Warehousing

Position summary:

In order to implement and drive the success of our procurement model and to complete the team of Warehousing category, we are looking for a highly competent Regional Procurement Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Global Category Leader, you will be responsible for defining, implementing the category strategy for the 3PL Warehousing category on a regional level, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in a life of a Regional Procurement Manager for Warehousing:

  1. Define and implement the category strategy, utilizing Strategic Sourcing processes, tools, and policies.
  2. Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
  3. Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
  4. Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
  5. In partnership with logistics function lead the planning and regular performance review of key vendors, contract SLA reviews.
  6. Identify and implement logistics optimization opportunities at markets.
  7. Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards.

What makes you successful:

  1. University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, and/or Supply Chain.
  2. Solid and well-established years of experience in sourcing for FMCG companies.
  3. Ideally experience in 3PL Warehouse Category as procurement or logistics manager.
  4. Experience in negotiations for complex long-lasting contracts.
  5. Proven Leadership or Project Management skills.
  6. Demonstrated successful use of risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relation management.
  7. Fluency in English, another language will be an asset.
  8. An outgoing personality with the ability to cultivate relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  9. Flexibility to work across different time zones.
