The candidate will be based at Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, and will work closely with management on employee engagement, relations, coaching, development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, and training.

Plays an essential role in establishing and driving HR programs and talent initiatives within specific company functions, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Must possess deep business acumen to understand the company and its challenges, helping to address organizational and talent needs.

Ability to work at all levels—strategic, operational—and influence effectively across the organization, introducing structure and processes without disrupting hierarchy.

Aligns talent strategy with business priorities, defines and delivers training programs, and participates in leadership teams as a business partner.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR policies supporting strategic growth.

Provide thought leadership on organizational and people strategies.

Offer education and information on HR issues across all levels.

Coach managers on performance management and employee development.

Provide expertise in feedback, employee relations, development, coaching, compensation, and organizational development.

Contribute to the development of HR programs such as recruiting, retention, benefits, and learning & development.

Collaborate with the HR team to foster a culture of engagement and excellence.

Develop people strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.

Lead core HR processes like performance calibration, compensation cycles, and promotions.

Analyze employee data to guide decisions and provide proactive solutions.

Partner with departments on training, development, and career mobility.

Educate team members on compensation practices and career transitions.

Perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field, with interest in HR.

Minimum 8 years of HR experience in the hotel industry.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.

Understanding of HR legislation and processes.
