AZMAR ENGINEERS SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering electrical engineering solutions and services to support our diverse range of projects. This is a contract position based in Kuching Division, Sarawak.

What you'll be doing

1. Design, develop and oversee the implementation of electrical systems and components for a variety of engineering projects.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, prepare technical specifications, cost estimates and budgets for electrical systems.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations and safety standards.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.
5. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the lifecycle of projects.
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical engineering processes and practices.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies and best practices in the electrical engineering field.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the engineering/construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Proficient in the use of engineering design software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, regulations and safety standards.
