An established industry player is seeking a Trading Executive to oversee trading operations and drive growth. This role involves building strong customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Oversee end-to-end trading operations, including procurement, sales, and inventory planning.
Identify and evaluate potential customers to meet business objectives and drive growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand and fulfill their needs effectively.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform and refine business strategies.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Provide logistics solutions and operational support to customers and suppliers, including managing import breakbulk services and preparing delivery orders and trade documentation.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of permit declarations in compliance with Customs regulations and customer requirements.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations as required, and provide regular updates to superiors.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in trading, sales coordination, or supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, mature, and capable of working independently with a positive attitude.
Digitally savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in coordinating with traders, shipping agents, brokers, and other stakeholders is an added advantage.
