Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Data Manager (Operation) to lead and optimize our operations team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring 24/7 operational coverage through effective team leadership and resource allocation. This role involves strategic planning, implementing new technologies, and managing performance to align with business goals. The Operations Manager will serve as the key escalation point for major incidents and must communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization. A strong focus on continuous improvement and process automation is essential to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the operations team, ensuring high performance and alignment with organizational goals.
  2. Resource Allocation: Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage and effective response to operational needs.
  3. Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies, including the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
  4. Performance Management: Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to improve skill sets.
  5. Incident Management: Act as the escalation point for major incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on services.
  6. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with upper management and other departments to align operational strategies with business objectives.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, including the automation of manual processes.
  8. Communication Skills: Can effectively communicate in English and Mandarin.
