Job summary

The Orange Tree Preschool in Malaysia seeks a passionate preschool teacher to deliver engaging activities for young learners. You will conduct lessons aligned with our curriculum, monitor progress and build strong relationships with children and parents.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or Diploma in Pre-school Teaching, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or Diploma in Pre-school Teaching.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have passion for children.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and storytelling.
• Establish routines, provide positive guidance and build children's esteem.
• Conduct lessons according to centre's curriculum.
• Monitor learning progress of students.
• Build good rapport with parents, staff and students.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable.
• Guide, motivate and monitor Assistant Teacher/Classroom helpers in carrying out their tasks.
• Follow assigned work shift patterns of the centre.
• Perform other related duties as required.
