Job description

With 30 years of industry experience, this company is a leading manufacturer of bodywork for commercial vehicles, specializing in buses and coaches. Based in Malaysia, it designs and manufactures bus bodies, assembles buses, and exports to over 15 global markets, including the USA, Australia, UAE, and Singapore, adhering to each region's road safety regulations. The company is dedicated to providing sustainable, innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers embracing environmentally friendly transportation. It has supplied buses and bus bodies to major operators such as SBS Transit, SMRT, Rapid Bus, and Kwoon Chung Bus.

Job Description:

1. Support sales team on documentation required for sales activities, i.e., presentations.
2. Follow up and liaise with sales team and customers on quotation matters.
3. Provide regular reports on project progress for existing customers.
4. Project management: Coordination with other departments to ensure correct parts procurement, product assembly, and timely delivery.
5. Maintain accurate minutes of discussions and filing records, i.e., GA layout, body specifications, and color schemes.
6. Timely preparation of various reports, i.e., project development log and project records.
7. Study, plan, and implement processes that will ensure smooth project management, production progress, and timely delivery.
8. Follow up and liaise with project team, engineers, and production regarding sales and project matters.
9. Focus of projects: mainly on international markets, including the USA, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Dubai, etc. Delegation of markets will be determined based on the capability of the candidate.
10. Ensure that departmental or team activities are in alignment with the organization's environmental goals.
11. Participate in training programs related to environmental management and ISO 14001.
12. Promote environmental awareness within the department and encourage colleagues to adopt environmentally responsible practices.
13. Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to the EMS, including procedures and records.
14. Ensure that departmental records are accurate and kept up to date.
15. Collaborate with team members to work towards achieving the company objectives.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business/Admin, or Engineering.
2. Presentable and ability to give presentations.
3. Good communication skills and able to work effectively with team members.
4. Discipline, self-motivated, and independent.
5. Knowledge of AUTOCAD will be an advantage.
6. We prefer Mandarin speakers because you will need to communicate with customers in Mandarin.
