Job description

Senior Engineer, Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

AutoCAD and EPLAN experience.

5 years experience in industrial installations, electrical power distribution, and protection for low and medium voltages (switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, lighting, automation cabinets), preferably in the Oil & Gas or maritime industry.

Understanding of offshore and maritime rules and regulations regarding electrical systems.

Understanding of IC Engine and Gen-Set Control systems.

Understanding of engine control systems and generator control systems.

Basic understanding of automation (PLC) applications.

Ability to learn concepts and technical details of complex systems.

Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of responsibilities.

Pro-active and self-motivated team player with strong engineering judgment skills.

Able to work well in high-pressure environments with continuous changes.

Creativity and strong analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.

Good command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.

Willingness to travel for short assignments and work abroad or offshore.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers and promote TPS solutions mainly on instrumentation and electrical equipment.
  • Keep abreast of market conditions and identify project sales opportunities for TPS solutions.
  • Update on sales presentations, customer engagement, follow-ups, tender updates, and sales conversion.
  • Monitor payment schedules, invoicing, and liaise with the Accounts Department.
  • Prepare proposals, execute purchase orders, monitor project progress and delivery schedules, and coordinate project information flow.
  • Support offshore and onshore installation work.
  • Provide technical procurement support for spare parts, sourcing CAT and non-CAT equipment.
  • Perform field service, installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Design electrical and instrumentation installation systems.
  • Create electrical installation details, one-line diagrams, panel layouts, cable and consumer lists.
  • Gather information for drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams on E&I matters.
  • Develop best practice procedures for E&I development.
  • Create and maintain formal documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
