A leading company in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Senior Engineer for Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and have significant experience in industrial installations. Responsibilities include customer engagement, project management, and technical support for electrical systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure. Willingness to travel for short assignments is essential.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
AutoCAD and EPLAN experience.
5 years experience in industrial installations, electrical power distribution, and protection for low and medium voltages (switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, lighting, automation cabinets), preferably in the Oil & Gas or maritime industry.
Understanding of offshore and maritime rules and regulations regarding electrical systems.
Understanding of IC Engine and Gen-Set Control systems.
Understanding of engine control systems and generator control systems.
Basic understanding of automation (PLC) applications.
Ability to learn concepts and technical details of complex systems.
Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of responsibilities.
Pro-active and self-motivated team player with strong engineering judgment skills.
Able to work well in high-pressure environments with continuous changes.
Creativity and strong analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
Good command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.
Willingness to travel for short assignments and work abroad or offshore.
Expected monthly salary, qualifications, years of experience as an electrical engineer, maritime industry experience, and AutoCAD Designer experience.
