Accountant/Asst. Accountant/School Cashier

The opportunity

Join the dynamic team at the IMAS International School in Kuala Lumpur as an Accountant/Assistant Accountant/School Cashier. This full-time role is essential to the school's financial operations, allowing you to contribute your expertise in financial accounting and reporting.

Key responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the school
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
3. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
4. Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
5. Assist with budgeting and financial planning for the school
6. Serve as the school cashier, handling daily financial transactions
7. Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements
8. Provide support and guidance to non-finance staff on financial matters

What we're looking for

• Relevant university degree or professional accounting qualification
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial accounting or reporting role
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and relevant applications
