Job description

1) Lead and manage the QA/QC team and expertise in the overall Quality Management System, policies, and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all quality-related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements.

2) Oversee daily workflow and schedules of the department.

3) Set up the department KPIs and monitor department performance.

4) Ensure the fundamental quality plan is established, well understood, and executed by all QC personnel.

5) Monitor test production and perform quality planning, quality target setting, and performance management.

6) Provide support to HQ on new project CMM programming.

7) Work closely with HQ QAC team and engineering department to meet customer requirements and specifications.

8) Responsible for initiating and closing Non-Conformance Reports and Corrective and Preventive Action Reports.

9) Demonstrate experience in implementing, documenting, and monitoring ISO 9001 development and application.

10) Resolve major customer issues regarding quality.

11) Liaise with vendors on all quality requirements.

12) Contribute to workplace safety and health improvements.

13) Provide training to department executives, operators, and inspectors according to company procedures.

14) Maintain measurement equipment accuracy through calibration and repairs.

15) Regularly report progress to superiors and propose solutions for efficiency and cost reduction.

16) Collaborate with HR on training, disciplinary issues, employment, and follow-up on disciplinary actions in the QAC Department.

17) Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as instructed by superiors.

What we're looking for

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar quality assurance and control role, preferably within manufacturing.

Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Technical competence in ISO 9001, CMM software & programming, QC tools, and product processes. Ability to read technical drawings and deep knowledge of GD&T.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex quality issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Proven leadership and motivation skills in managing QA professionals.

Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.
