Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Participate in vendor sourcing, selection, and evaluation, and continuously seek opportunities to optimise the supply chain;
  2. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery;
  3. Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the production & R&D team to ensure availability of materials and minimise disruptions;
  4. Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation;
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations;
  6. Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or trading industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and experience with procurement software.
  • Speak Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Willing to travel to Johor Bahru.
