Senior Executive, Human Resource (IR, Recruitment)
- Ensure that all departments have adequate and utilized their headcount – headcount report.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and expectations, identify suitable candidates, and conduct phone screening interviews.
- Lead and execute recruitment drives and talent deployment.
- Collaborate with Group HR to establish rapport and networks with local universities as part of talent acquisition strategies.
- Engage with local employment agencies and online recruitment portals to expand sourcing channels.
- Review applications, determine suitable designations, and communicate with HODs.
- Conduct onboarding for new employees.
- Manage offboarding processes for resigned staff.
- Prepare and consolidate relevant HR reports.
2. Policy
- Ensure employment terms and conditions for all staff levels are documented and compliant.
- Liaise with Daikin Group HR on matters concerning all worker levels.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
3. Industrial Relations (IR)
- Formulate and review IR policies to promote industrial harmony.
- Manage grievances, disputes, and disciplinary cases promptly and amicably.
- Ensure disciplinary actions comply with Employment Act 1955.
- Ensure adherence to local labour laws and regulations.
- Address employee concerns to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop strategies to improve employee relations and morale.
- Manage labour disputes and negotiations with unions, if applicable.
- Handle workplace conflicts and mediate resolutions.
- Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend actions.
- Advise line managers on disciplinary measures aligned with company policies.
4. Employee Relations (ER)
- Provide information on counseling, benefits, and available programs.
- Collect and analyze HR data.
- Inspect and improve physical work environment.
- Investigate workplace situations.
- Assist in recruitment and hiring processes.
- Address employee complaints.
- Enhance HR policies and employee treatment to improve team relationships.
5. Welfare & Benefits
- Organize welfare, CSR, and company activities.
6. Ad-Hoc / Support Tasks
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
- Ensure HR operations are compliant.
- Support canteen and security operations.
- Manage recruitment, manpower planning, performance management, and employee relations.
- Handle filing, documentation, and administrative tasks.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Languages: Bahasa Melayu, English.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong initiative, judgment, and proactive attitude.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to work in Shah Alam.
