Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and analysis of financial data.
• Assist in yearly accounts audit and tax matters.
• Submit management reports according to deadlines.

Job description

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monthly analysis of financial data.

Involve in yearly accounts audit and provide required information for internal and external auditors.

Assist Head of Department in the preparation of tax matters of the companies as and when assigned and taking relevant initiatives in relation to this work including the timely and accurate filings.

Submit management reports according to deadlines.

Maintain organized accounts files by properly filing relevant documents, including assets coding.

To assist in month-end accounts closing.

Liase with banks, auditors, tax agents and other authority bodies.

Perform other ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.

Demonstrated minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in accounting.

Well-versed in MS applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); knowledge of various accounting and payroll software such as SQL.

Well-knowledge to the accounting MFRS standard, regulation and tax compliance.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Self motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Willing to work overtime as when required.
