To manage the daily cleaning operations, ensuring operational excellence across all our clients’ premises. This role involves planning of resources, process improvement, team leadership, and close collaboration with suppliers and clients to achieve operations goals. The Operations Manager is crucial for maintaining operational standards and exceeding clients’ expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule daily meeting with operations team.
  2. Plan and allocate resources according to priorities.
  3. Submit weekly and monthly operations report to senior management.
  4. Attend weekly / monthly meetings with clients.
  5. Conduct regular site inspection with staff and/or client.
  6. Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, staff discipline, health & safety.
  7. Ensure operations team adhere strictly to contractual obligations, work schedules, cleaning SOP, safety policies, and other regulations.
  8. Plan, coordinate, and commence new project mobilization successfully, and to lead any demobilization process.
  9. Check and approve all monthly orders to achieve or exceed budget target.
  10. Control and manage operations budget to align with business goals.
  11. Ensure the cleaning crew always have adequate supplies, working machinery and equipment, and proper attire.
  12. Develop standard operating procedures and KPIs to increase productivity and work efficiency.
  13. Evaluate the performance of assigned team members periodically and ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans.
  14. Organize and lead recruitment of cleaning crew, both local and foreigner workers.
  15. Collaborate with HR on staff welfare, disciplinary issues, and payroll related matters.
  16. Attend site visits and assist on tender submissions.
  17. Prepare and conduct trainings on chemical handling, health & safety, cleaning methodology and machine operation.
  18. To liaise with vendors on machinery breakdowns, trainings, and service level.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in cleaning operations, housekeeping, security, facilities management, or relevant industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong Integrity, resourceful, diligent, and meticulous.
  • Proven track record with good references.
  • Outstanding leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Responsive and customer oriented.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Possess strong training, leadership, and people management skills.
  • Possess own transport and valid driving license.
  • Office located near Jalan Kuchai Lama.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in floor care and maintenance, carpet cleaning, landscaping and/or building façade cleaning will be an added advantage.
