1. Job Identification

Job Title: Project & Solution Manager / Assistant Manager (Freight Forwarding/Logistics/Supply Chain)

Location: Klang, Selangor

Reporting Line: Reports to the Senior Manager of Costing & Reporting

2. Job Overview

Purpose of the Role:

This position supports the development of service solutions tailored for new clients and improvements for existing ones. It involves conducting customer data analysis to support both business growth and performance optimization. The role may also serve as a point of coordination between clients and internal operations during the launch of new services, taking on a project management function where needed.

3. Scope of the Role

Decision-Making and Autonomy:

Operates under the direction of the Senior Manager, contributing to the design and implementation of customer solutions and service strategies within defined parameters.

4. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and manage end-to-end project plans
  • Develop operational solutions for onboarding new clients or enhancing current service offerings
  • Prepare and manage startup schedules, assign tasks, monitor progress, and report on milestones
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and goal-aligned project delivery
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation throughout project phases
  • Conduct evaluations and reviews upon project completion
  • Drive automation efforts for administrative tasks within the MNC Logistics company
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned in support of departmental or company goals

Internal: Warehouse, Transport, Business Development, IT

External: Interactions related to business support and data analysis functions
