We are a diversified Group with businesses in real estate and property development, hotel operation and management, oil palm plantations, leasing and management of commercial and residential properties, and general insurance agency. We have a vacancy for the position of Group General Manager (GGM).

The GGM shall have the following main responsibilities:

  1. Develop strategic plans and implement strategies.
  2. Set policies and processes.
  3. Manage financial performance, including evaluating operational and financial results.
  4. Control budgets and optimize expenses.
  5. Oversee resource allocation while maintaining budgetary control.
  6. Manage daily business operations.
  7. Lead staff management, ensuring motivation and productivity.
  8. Evaluate and improve staff and Group performance.
  9. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  10. Oversee HR functions such as recruitment, training, and termination.
  11. Monitor market and industry trends.
  12. Research and identify growth opportunities for the Group.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a GM or in a similar senior role.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and business operations.
  • Experience in planning and developing commercial properties.
  • Experience in leasing commercial and residential properties, including credit control.
  • Legal knowledge related to corporate and labor matters is advantageous.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
