Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of legal and compliance experience, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Knowledge of Singaporean legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.

Join us as our Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel—a trusted advisor in Legal, Compliance, and Data Privacy. In this strategic role, you will ensure our operations are compliant and future-ready, supporting business growth with confidence. You will collaborate with various teams to provide proactive legal guidance and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on insurance, corporate, commercial, and other business activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, reports, policies, and procedures.
  • Support and advise on contentious matters involving the company.
  • Implement and communicate policies and procedures within the department and organization.
  • Evaluate, investigate, and resolve compliance and data privacy issues.
  • Develop and update policies to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory developments, especially regarding new products and services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of legal and compliance experience, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Knowledge of Singaporean legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across functions and cultures.
