- Responsible for timely and accurate monthly management accounts and managing year-end audit compliances.
- Ensure strict compliance and implementation of internal control policies and procedures, accounting control system with standardized financial reporting formats, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide timely and effective financial analysis, disclose financial information to ensure effective supervision of the financial system, and make appropriate adjustments in a timely manner.
- Monitor the implementation of financial planning and best practices.
- Establish effective tax planning for the company and submit all returns to Inland Revenue in a timely manner.
- Liaise closely with colleagues at all levels throughout the company to ensure that corporate priorities, financial targets, and disciplines are well understood and adhered to.
- Work closely with management in achieving the company's objectives and participate actively in business growth and expansion.
- Perform ad-hoc special assignments/projects and develop contingency plans as required by management.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in accounting/professional accounting qualification or preferably be a member of one of the professional accounting bodies e.g., ACCA, MIA, MICPA, ASCPA.
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
- At least 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Independent, with good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Megan Avenue 1, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Preferably with knowledge of Sage UBS Accounting Software.
