Job description

The incumbent's main responsibilities are:

Assist the CFO in leading and managing the Group Finance Team and the respective Subsidiaries’ Finance Teams in handling all finance-related matters in compliance with approved accounting standards (MFRS), the Companies Act 2016, and BURSA MALAYSIA Listing Requirements.

Review and ensure the Group and its subsidiaries have implemented effective operational and financial internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Assist the CFO in managing daily operational activities and ad hoc finance matters of the Finance Department.

Prepare financial analysis, budgets, and performance tracking reports for the subsidiaries.

Liaise with bankers regarding the Group’s banking and borrowing matters.

Prepare the Group’s financial and cash flow forecasts for submission to bankers, relevant authorities, and auditors.

Liaise with tax agents on tax submissions, compliance, and other taxation matters.

Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts to maintain proper credit control and treasury management.

Coordinate the Group’s annual budget process, ensuring timely submission and approval.

Evaluate financial and qualitative aspects of corporate proposals and CAPEX investments, including research and feasibility studies.

Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
