Position Summary

The role involves supporting the project team through various phases including start-up, commissioning, validation, IQ, OQ, and PQ. The incumbent will oversee the operation and maintenance of the Building Management System (BMS) and Environment Monitoring System (EMS), ensuring all manufacturing and utility requirements are fulfilled. This position offers a valuable opportunity to lead a critical system that supports the entire factory, with potential for significant professional growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage daily Utility & Facility Operations to ensure efficient manufacturing, compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with Plant EHS and Quality teams to meet safety and quality objectives.
  • Oversee Utilities Operations, including Maintenance, Automation, and Control systems, to maintain seamless manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure smooth operation of BMS & EMS, managing inventory of spares and consumables for critical maintenance.
  • Maintain and update the EMS/BMS master list reflecting system changes.
  • Assist in developing documentation, procedures, and change control processes for equipment and processes.
  • Establish and oversee preventive maintenance schedules and calibration programs for facilities equipment related to BMS/EMS.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or higher in Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, or related fields.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Preferably 2 years of industry experience in facilities management.
  • Basic knowledge of facilities systems automation, controls, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to understand and independently commission/validate BMS/EMS architecture.
  • Strong understanding of GMP & EHS standards and audit processes.
  • Customer-focused with good engineering problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, able to multitask, and work under pressure as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Lean Sigma tools (e.g., 5S, Pareto, 5 WHY, DMAIC, RCA, Fishbone analysis) and ISO standards for medical devices is advantageous.
