Job description

SH Gan & Associates PLT, a chartered accountant firm in Malaysia, with the brand name SHG, was established in December 2015 by Mr. S H Gan to provide professional accounting services to companies in Malaysia, including small, medium, and non-SME entities.

Qualifications & Experience
  • At least 3 years' experience in audit or related fields
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with audit software (preference: aBot)
  • Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent
Job Scope
  • Prepare audit and tax assignments
  • Handle other assignments as allocated
  • Report to the audit manager and managing partner
  • Coordinate with senior colleagues across branches
  • Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely delivery of assignments
  • Communicate any unusual findings to the managing partner or partner
  • Coordinate with clients to resolve issues for assignment completion
  • Attend clearance meetings with partners and clients
  • Understand the requirements of ISQM 1
  • Comply with statutory contributions: PCB, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS
  • Provide transportation reimbursement for client visits
  • Provide a company laptop and phone for work
  • Enjoy over 12 annual leave days per year

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm

Remuneration Package

Salary up to RM 6,000.00, depending on experience
