Job Description: Cell and Gene Therapy Sales Specialist (DACH Region)

Position Overview

This remote role is part of the European commercial sales team, responsible for the entire DACH region. You will join the Cell and Gene Therapy Sales Team, reporting to the Director of Sales, EMEA, focusing on identifying, developing, managing, and retaining revenue opportunities across all product and service lines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify, prospect, and close new business in biotech, pharma, academic, and government organizations within the territory, meeting or exceeding sales KPIs.
  2. Manage sales pipeline data in CRM, providing accurate forecasts and visibility into revenue opportunities.
  3. Understand client strategies and feedback, communicating insights to Product Management and Operations for service and product improvements.
  4. Deliver high-level presentations to clients about our offerings.
  5. Develop and adjust territory and business development plans to foster revenue growth.
Minimum Requirements
  • University degree in Biotechnology or Biology, or extensive client-facing sales experience in cell and gene therapy.
  • Broad technical knowledge in molecular and cell biology, including biotherapeutics such as nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vectors, CAR-T, etc.
  • Experience in territory and business development planning to expand client base and revenue.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and to the USA for meetings and training.
  • Fluent in German and English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with regional regulatory and quality requirements.
