PRODUCTION MATERIAL CONTROL (PMC) / PLANNING MANAGER

Language Requirement: Mandarin Speaking to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Experience: Over 5 years at a managerial level.

Job Description

  1. Master Production Schedule (MPS): Maintain the MPS based on customer demand, capacities across different processes, and material availability. Ensure all finished goods (FG) shipments are on time to meet customer requirements.
  2. Materials Requirement Planning (MRP): Oversee MRP to ensure timely availability of required materials. Track and monitor the flow of materials through production, managing FIFO and scrap control.
  3. Production Scheduling: Support the production team to align processes with MPS and MRP plans.
  4. Capacity Planning: Monitor production capacity across various processes to meet customer demands.
  5. Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize costs while ensuring sufficient raw materials. Regularly review FG, WIP, and raw material inventory levels against KPI targets.
  6. Supplier Management: Secure favorable terms with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure quality.
  7. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Collaboration: Work with departments such as sales, customer service, and production to ensure smooth operations.
  9. Problem Solving: Address production bottlenecks, delays, and quality issues promptly.
