Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Mechanical Trade team and report asset availability to the Facility Manager.
  • Ensure all statutory requirements by authorities are updated and complied with.
  • Oversee Preventive, Corrective, Routine Maintenance, and requests for mechanical assets in CMMS.
  • Lead and assist in troubleshooting and corrective maintenance for mechanical assets.
  • Report and document abnormal operations, malfunctions, or emergencies related to mechanical assets.
  • Ensure all mechanical complaints from clients are addressed professionally and rectified per procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical assets in good condition, ensuring all corrective actions are taken.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety & Regulations and support Green Building Index (GBI) & Life Cycle Cost (LCC) data completion.
  • Collaborate with the team and other departments to resolve maintenance issues and meet SLA requirements.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and respect when interacting with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of total work experience, with relevant experience in Facility Management (FM) as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including air conditioning & ventilation, fire alarm systems, chillers, and water pump systems.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for mechanical asset management.
  • Familiarity with Green Building Index (GBI) standards related to mechanical components.
