Lead Manager - Business Development & Advocacy

Job Description

About the Role:

You will lead special projects to build membership and revenue through Corporate Pathway programs in Malaysia and initiatives with the public sector. Your role involves identifying and guiding advocacy efforts by promoting programs, engaging partners, and influencing key audiences to support strategic objectives. You will report to the Director - South East Asia (SEA) Markets).

You Will:

  1. Develop a comprehensive business plan for commercial revenue, including student progression.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with government entities, partners/affiliates, and employers.
  3. Manage implementation of regional Corporate Pathway programs, including C-Suite, Regulatory Partnered, and Corporate Programs aimed at membership conversion.
  4. Promote services or products required by government agencies.
  5. Develop and execute a structured advocacy plan to promote relevant programs.
  6. Engage industry leaders, policymakers, and the public to foster support and collaboration.
  7. Convert new business opportunities into sales.
  8. Maintain strong product knowledge.
  9. Create business proposals for potential clients.
  10. Achieve targets set for Corporate Pathway Programs.
  11. Collaborate with the team to develop marketing materials.
  12. Lead and motivate team members to meet goals.
  13. Increase the number of CGMA advocates and participating companies.
  14. Assist the Director - SEA with special projects and additional responsibilities.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information.
  16. Utilize a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, including roles supporting corporate boards.
