POSITION SUMMARY:
Implement quality inspection, process audits, and other assigned tasks to ensure product quality and compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform quality inspections on both in-process units and finished goods.
- Conduct process audits of production lines or other relevant areas.
- Report discrepancies or queries encountered during inspections to the appropriate personnel.
- Verify parts against drawing specifications and requirements before packaging.
- Assist Quality Engineers or Technical Specialists in following up on corrective actions and rework statuses.
- Implement and monitor the status of updated official documentation.
- Adhere to organizational policies on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal requirements, environmental policies, 5S, and general duty of care.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read and interpret quality specifications and engineering documents such as OMS or work instructions.
- Capability to perform quality inspections based on requirements.
- Knowledge of ESD practices.
- Skills in electronic product assembly inspection and functional testing if necessary.
- Understanding of electronic manufacturing processes, process audits, and 5S practices.
- Basic knowledge of IPC electronic standards.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Proficiency in PC skills, including creating routing reports using MS Office tools.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
- Ability to interpret audit checklists and perform product and process audits.
- Strong team spirit.
- Good communication skills to effectively report issues to line leaders, supervisors, technical specialists, or quality engineers.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 1 year of experience in electronic product manufacturing quality inspection, or relevant educational background with potential for growth in quality inspection roles.
EDUCATION:
- Technical school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent education and/or experience.
