A leading audit firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Audit Team Lead to oversee audit assignments and guide junior staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in auditing, relevant accounting qualifications, and strong analytical and communication skills. This role involves planning audits, preparing reports, and maintaining client relationships, offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Job Description:
• Lead audit team in performing various assurance assignments.
• Plan and execute assigned jobs to comply with relevant audit procedures and regulations.
• Guide, coach and follow up with juniors on their jobs progress
• Execution of external and internal audit assignments.
• To perform statutory audit including preparation of working papers, evidential support, presentation of audit finding, drafting audited report.
• Application of solid understanding of audit and accounting standards.
• Developing and maintaining good relationship with clients.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field
• Possess relevant accounting qualifications
• Self-motivated, pro-active and with strong analytical qualities, results oriented and capable to trouble
• A good team player can effectively solve and shoot work problems
• Ability to interact with clients during audit assignments and work independently and be able to meet deadlines
• Assume high level of responsibility and commitment in audit advisory and compliances
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
