Job description

This role will be part of the Supply Chain function within BSC Malaysia. The scope of responsibility includes order fulfillment, customer service, and consignment inventory management within the country, ensuring customer orders and queries are met accordingly. Order fulfillment and consignment management are core competencies of this role. This role requires close collaboration with various functions in the country to deliver business objectives.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for business units’ inventory health and proposing improvement activities.
  2. Manage customer service and order activities, including delivery and returns.
  3. Oversee inventory management, including consignment, ensuring alignment with business plans through performance analysis.
  4. Handle supply chain activities for dealers/distributors.
  5. Collaborate with the commercial team on stock requests, consignment, order fulfillment, and capital equipment programs, maintaining service levels.
  6. Work with dealers/distributors to troubleshoot queries.
Key Activities
  1. Supervise the order team to ensure timely processing and billing.
  2. Manage used and unbilled products for timely billing.
  3. Coordinate with service providers for accurate delivery.
  4. Reduce slow-moving inventory to optimize holdings.
  5. Coordinate capital equipment movement.
  6. Gather customer feedback and suggest improvements.
  7. Participate in monthly SIOP meetings with insights.
  8. Engage in regional supply chain improvement projects.
  9. Support the team on Customer Service matters.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG, Medical Equipment, or Pharmaceuticals, with leadership experience.
  • Performance-oriented, analytical, and sharp-minded.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with SAP.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant field.
Competencies
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • Understanding of supply chain operations including planning, warehousing, distribution, and import/export.
  • Proactive in handling complaints and adding value.
  • Familiar with analytical tools like spreadsheets and visualization tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused and able to work under pressure.
