Job description

We are representing our client, a publicly listed organization in the manufacturing and industrial sector. They are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Group Finance Assistant Manager & Group Senior Finance Executive, based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Working Details:

• Work Days: 5 days/week (8:30 am - 6:00 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee group accounts functions, including preparation of condensed consolidated accounts, periodic financial reporting, budgets, financial projections, taxation, and audits.
• Prepare, analyze, and review group financial and management reports such as monthly management accounts, quarterly interim reports, yearly audited financial statements, and annual budgets.
• Analyze financial performance to support business decisions and collaborate with management to generate reports and variance analysis.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and authorities to ensure compliance.
• Review and improve internal control systems and procedures.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Member of ACCA, MIA
• Professional Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with strong technical knowledge in accounting, taxation, and law.

Finance Senior Executive Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and analyze financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations, prepare tax computations, and assist in budgeting.
• Support ad-hoc financial tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in an audit firm.
