Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operation Engineer to join our team. As a key player in the success of our company, the Operation Engineer will be responsible for driving the strategic planning and maximizing the profitability of client accounts. This role will require a combination of technical expertise, customer-focused relationship building, and operational oversight to ensure the highest levels of service and performance.

This position will be based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between the customer and internal teams, providing in-depth understanding of customer needs, challenges, and business goals.
• Collaborate with segment leadership to inform strategic plans by analyzing the business environment, macroeconomic drivers, and portfolio performance.
• Optimize and realize the maximum sustainable revenue and profitability for the accounts, through upselling opportunities, and introducing new technologies and services to customers.
• Manage day-to-day operations at the customer’s wellsite, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery while minimizing non-productive time (NPT).
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key customer stakeholders, including service delivery teams, to ensure satisfaction and seamless operations.
• Accountable for revenue collection, contract management, and ensuring all operational activities are completed to the highest standards.
• Coordinate with management, R&D, operations, and functional teams to deliver effective solutions and services.
• Represent the full range of Dimension Bid’s businesses and ensure that the company’s offerings meet customer needs while exceeding expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience in working with notable oil & gas company will be preferred
• Proven experience in operational engineering, ideally within oil and gas, energy, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of account management, customer needs analysis, and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Experience managing complex operations in a high-stakes environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on maximizing profitability and minimizing operational risks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of new technologies and services in the industry, with an ability to introduce and implement innovative solutions.
