Join our team as a Laboratory Technician!
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to conduct testing activities and support efficient lab operations. You will perform technical tests, mainly on Serac products, based on internal or external requests within set deadlines.
Laboratory main missions:
- Ensure the feasibility of the required test according to the instructions received are in written form, in the case of oral information (after-sales service), they must be validated in return by the customer
- Manage the test schedule and warns her/his manager in case of delay
- Observe, test, and measure
- Prepare a report for each test (in conclusion, she/he will have to give their recommendations)
- Properly archive and file each test report
- Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the laboratory
- Control PET bottle during blowing test or FAT blower machine (Serac knowledge, internal training)
Laboratory test:
- Check and follow the safety instructions associated with each product before each test
- Provide the deliverables relating to the current ISO 9001 process
- Respect hygiene and safety instructions within the company
- Conduct product tests at the request of various departments to determine dosing times and define the type of nozzles to use
- Create a video of the test, edit the videos, and organize report management
- Write according to the report form and ask for reports validated by the manager
- Update the test database
- Conduct tests in the presence of internal and external customers
Test bench or prototype:
- Perform endurance or technical validation tests requested by various departments, with occasional support from an engineer
- Monitor each test by notifying any events that occur and informing the test requester
- Maintain and update test benches: mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, or hydraulic

Information Technology:
- Standard office hardware and software, excel and PowerPoint
- SolidWorks basic notion to use simple functions
- PLC competence (B&R example)
- Good understanding on PLM and ERP software on daily work (internal training)
Competences & Qualifications:
- Has a degree in either Electrical or Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- Has good communication skills and client management skills
- Rigor and good writing skills
- PET packaging basic notion (Serac knowledge, internal training)
- BR Electrical Certification (optional)
- Dedicated Lifting Equipment Driving Authorization
- Chemical Risk Awareness
- English spoken and written
- Be attentive to new technologies and other supplier innovations
- Be proactive in suggesting development ideas
- Be critical of the tools used and working methods and be able to suggest ideas for improvements if necessary
