Job description

Purpose of the position

To serve as the technical key person between Sales/Customer and Operations, developing and preparing software tailored to product and customer needs. The role involves working within the Operations Team to ensure project delivery and quality commitments.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Design and develop software based on customer requirements.
• Prepare software designs and proposals for Sales/Customers.
• Prepare and release software for manufacturing customer orders.
• Review Technical Specifications provided by Sales.
• Engage in technical discussions with Project Leaders, Product Support, and Sales teams.
• Manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with Operations to align manufacturing activities with delivery targets.
• Evaluate product performance and customer satisfaction collaboratively with relevant departments.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

• A relevant Degree in Software, Electrical, or Control Engineering.

Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant electrical/control design experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills

• Knowledge of software (preferably CoDeSys & Siemens).
• Familiarity with programming languages: IL, ST, LD, FBD, SFC, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript.
• Understanding of industrial standards related to hoisting machinery and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control systems.
• Self-initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.

Competencies

• Ability to write professional technical reports.
• Strong technical analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks.
