Position Overview: The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and administration for all subsidiaries and affiliated companies under Eurokars Group. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with relevant regulations, and effective communication with employees regarding payroll matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, including data input, calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related payments.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide timely and accurate responses.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other HR and accounting systems.
  • Stay updated on relevant employment legislation, tax regulations, and statutory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for management, government agencies, and auditors as required.
  • Assist in the implementation of payroll system upgrades or enhancements.
  • Participate in payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of payroll data and information.
     

Key Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Human resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll software/systems (Prosoft is a must), Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, taxation, and labour laws/regulations in Singapore.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll-related issues effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
