Overview

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions at the Penang branch, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, employee engagement, workplace concerns, and offboarding. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with the head office in Kuala Lumpur to ensure alignment with organizational goals and foster a positive and productive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract top-tier talent, driving the creation of a high-performance team
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring smooth transitions and delivering actionable insights to management for the continuous enhancement of the employee experience
  • Manage payroll processing while ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations
  • Lead and implement staff engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and proactively address employee relations matters
  • Drive performance management by ensuring timely evaluations, supporting business unit head in goal setting and feedback, and identifying opportunities for employee development
  • Lead & manage HR-related projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with the firm’s overall business strategy
  • Take ownership of additional responsibilities and assignments to support the ongoing advancement of HR operations and best practices

Education and professional skills/ knowledge

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any related fields
  • With at least four(4) years of experience in Human Resources
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Other skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, ensuring efficiency in managing multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent command of English
